Description: The role of a laboratory technician involves the physical and chemical testing of raw materials and finished good materials used in the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities: Physical and Chemical Testing: Performing a variety of tests using specialized equipment to measure key properties: Mud weight/density using a mud balance, Viscosity and rheology using viscometers. API and High-Temperature, High-Pressure Filtration loss test, Electrical stability and emulsion testingLab Technician supports research and product development activities by conducting laboratory tests, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and accurately documenting results. The role is essential for ensuring experiments are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business objectives, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, transporters to negotiate rates, contracts and maintain strong relationships, focusing on quality, pricing, and delivery schedules.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards, minimizing risks associated with importing and exporting goods.Oversee logistics operations, coordinating custom clearance & transportation and warehousing to ensure timely delivery while managing costs.Minimum 2 years of work experience in logistics department at a trading/manufacturing establishment.
