Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wood Polisher to join our client’s team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, polishing, and finishing wooden surfaces to achieve high-quality results for furniture, fixtures, and custom woodwork.Key Responsibilities:Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and applying base coatsMix and apply stains, sealants, lacquers, and varnishes using brushes, spray guns, or clothsBuff and polish wood to achieve desired sheen and smoothnessInspect finished surfaces for defects and ensure quality standards are metMaintain polishing tools and equipment in good working conditionCollaborate with carpenters and production staff to meet project timelinesFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environmentQualification & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in wood polishing or furniture finishing.Hindi speaking candidates preferred.Familiarity with various types of wood and finishing materials.Skilled in manual and machine polishing techniques.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical stamina and ability to handle polishing equipment.Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.Benefits:Salary: AED 1,000 - AED 1,200Accommodation or Housing AllowanceVisa + Insurance and Bi-annual Ticket.Supportive work environment with growth potential.
