Company Description Al Ostoura Engineering Consultancy is an Abu Dhabi–based engineering firm providing civil, architectural, structural, and MEP services with full compliance to UAE municipality regulations. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer position based in Abu Dhabi. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing drawings, coordinating with designers, ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements, and supporting the engineering team in project planning and execution. The role includes reviewing contractor work, verifying quantities, preparing submissions, following up with authorities, and assisting in resolving site-related technical issues. Responsibilities Prepare civil drawings, layouts, and technical documentation. Ensure full compliance with UAE Municipality codes and submission requirements. Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams. Review site work, conduct inspections, and prepare progress notes. Verify quantities, BOQs, and assist with cost-related evaluations. Prepare and update project reports, drawings, and approval packages. Follow up with contractors, consultants, and local authorities. Support project managers in meeting project deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Experience working with UAE Municipality standards (Abu Dhabi preferred). Strong knowledge of drawings, detailing, and technical documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and related engineering software. Good understanding of construction workflow and site procedures. Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills. Experience in the UAE is highly preferred.
