Job Summary The Light Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely operating company-assigned light vehicles (cars, vans, pickup trucks) to transport staff, materials, and documents. The role ensures timely deliveries, vehicle cleanliness, and adherence to traffic laws and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities 1. Driving & Transportation Safely operate light vehicles for official duties, staff transportation, and delivery of documents/materials. Plan routes to ensure timely arrivals and efficient travel. Follow all local traffic laws, road safety standards, and company regulations. 2. Vehicle Maintenance Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, lights, tires, brakes). Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition. Report mechanical issues immediately and coordinate repair or maintenance schedules. 3. Documentation & Recordkeeping Maintain accurate logbooks for mileage, fuel usage, and daily tasks. Handle delivery receipts, schedules, and any transport documentation professionally. Ensure timely submission of required reports. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure safety of passengers and transported goods. Adhere to company safety protocols and emergency procedures. Maintain valid driving license and comply with company driving policies. 5. Customer Service Assist passengers with loading/unloading items. Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or partners. Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding assignment status and schedules.
