We are seeking an experienced Arabic Specialty Chef (Demi Chef de Partie) to join the culinary team at an exclusive VVIP private luxury property.
Menu preparation & culinary delivery – Prepare, cook and plate a wide range of Arabic dishes including mezze, grills, stews, rice dishes, breads and desserts, ensuring consistent quality, flavour and presentation aligned with seasonal and bespoke menus.
Support kitchen operations – Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen duties including mise en place, food preparation, portion control, plating and end-of-service duties to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
Private dining & events – Contribute to the planning and execution of intimate and larger private functions, bespoke tasting menus and bespoke catering requests, ensuring all dishes meet specific guest preferences and dietary requirements.
Food safety & hygiene – Follow and maintain rigorous food safety, hygiene and health standards (including HACCP principles where applicable); maintain accurate records and ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment.
Ingredient sourcing & stock control – Work with the culinary team to source authentic and high-quality ingredients, assist with stock rotation, inventory checks and timely replenishment while minimising waste and cost where possible.
Adaptation for special diets – Prepare dishes that accommodate allergies, religious dietary needs (e.g. halal), vegetarian and vegan preferences, and bespoke nutritional plans when required.
Standards & presentation – Ensure all culinary output meets the property’s exacting standards for portioning, plating and consistency
Teamwork & development – Support a collaborative kitchen environment, assist in training junior kitchen staff and share knowledge of traditional Arabic techniques and flavour profiles.
Formal culinary qualification and demonstrable experience specialising in Arabic, Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine, preferably within private proeprty, luxury hospitality or fine-dining environments.
Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role with responsibilities for Arabic menu sections.
Strong knowledge of traditional recipes, modern interpretations, spice blends, bread making (e.g. khubz, pita), grills and regional desserts.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP processes; relevant certifications preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work discreetly and independently within a small, high-profile team.
