Job Summary

Key Roles &

Responsibilities:

Operations & Equipment Management

  • Work closely with KSA Hire Desk Controller to confirm operator availability and job allocations

  • Confirm equipment availability and preparation lead time with Hire Desk Controller

  • Ensure safe delivery and collection of equipment within KSA operations

  • Ensure pre-hire inspections are conducted; communicate updates to UAE Senior Operations Engineer and Hire Desk/Operations Coordinator

  • Ensure post-hire inspections are conducted after equipment collection; communicate updates to UAE Senior Operations Engineer and Hire Desk/Operations Coordinator

  • Ensure tagging system of equipment in the workshop is adhered to

  • Oversee equipment inspections by Workshop Supervisor according to company-approved standards and procedures

    Workshop Maintenance & Process Improvement

  • Implement routine and workshop maintenance procedures to improve workflow and inspection accuracy

  • Collect and compile inspection reports from Workshop Supervisor (pre-hire, post-hire, service reports, site visit reports, job sheets, job timesheets, quarantine reports)

  • Prepare quotations based on service reports prepared by Workshop Supervisor/Technician

  • Follow up with Procurement Department regarding spare parts and materials required for equipment and workshop maintenance

  • Study trends in breakdowns to understand root causes and provide solutions

  • Communicate with equipment suppliers for technical support and problem resolution

    Team Management & Cross-Country Coordination

  • Manage KSA operations team and coordinate daily activities

  • Provide updates and reports to Operations Manager

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and company policies

  • Support UAE HQ in implementing operational processes and improvements

    Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, RAMS, and KSA safety regulations

  • Conduct site-specific risk assessments and implement necessary control measures

  • Review certifications of fleet, operators, and equipment; ensure all third-party certificates are up to date

  • Promote a strong safety culture and halt unsafe operations immediately

    Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain all operational documentation, including inspection reports, RAMS, SOPs, service reports, quotations, and job sheets

  • Ensure proper version control, accuracy, and timely submission of operational reports to Operations Manager

  • Share chargeable maintenance reports with Accounts Department

  • Update and utilize operational tools including Operations Tracker, breakdown logs, and maintenance databases

    Sales & Project Support

  • Provide operational and technical expertise to local sales and project teams

  • Assist in tender submissions, proposals, and site surveys as requested Operations Manager

  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients as required

  • Support selection and deployment of appropriate equipment for projects
