Key Responsibilities
Source and procure vehicles from dealers, auctions, suppliers, and individual sellers in alignment with showroom inventory needs
Evaluate vehicles based on condition, mileage, history, market demand, and resale value
Conduct thorough inspections and due diligence, including service history and documentation verification
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and purchase agreements to achieve the best possible value for the company
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and industry contacts
Monitor automotive market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activity to ensure strategic purchasing decisions
Collaborate with the sales and management teams to forecast demand and plan stock levels effectively
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery coordination
Ensure all purchased vehicles comply with company quality standards and legal requirements
Coordinate logistics, transportation, and vehicle intake processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, supplier details, and pricing data
Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and reduce costs
Support inventory management by tracking stock turnover and aging vehicles
Assist in setting pricing strategies based on acquisition cost and market conditions
Requirements
Proven experience in automotive purchasing, procurement, or a similar role
Strong knowledge of vehicle evaluation and market pricing
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to analyze market data and make informed purchasing decisions
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
