The ideal candidate will have a strong background in switchgear systems, low voltage electrical design, and estimation. You will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and client requirements.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates for LV switchgear and electrical projects based on specifications, drawings, and tender documents.Analyze and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and other documentation.Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimation.Develop and maintain a database of cost information and supplier quotations.Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).Ensure all estimates are completed on time and in accordance with company standards.Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams.Keep up-to-date with market trends, pricing, and new products related to LV systems and switchgear.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estimation within the LV/switchgear industry.Strong understanding of electrical design and engineering concepts.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software/tools.Familiarity with DEWA and other UAE regulatory standards is an advantage.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
