Job Summary:We are looking for a highly experienced Mechanical QA/QC Engineer/Inspector to support maintenance work in oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily inspections, execution of maintenance tasks, and ensuring adherence to quality management systems and industry standards in mechanical, piping, structural, and coating activities.Key Responsibilities:• Carry out daily QA/QC inspection and verification for mechanical systems, piping, structural components, and protective coatings.• Inspect maintenance and repair activities involving Valve Stations (VS1, VS2), including MOVs (up to 48”), ESDVs, manual valves, pumps, cranes, davits, hoists, PIG trolleys, bridges, jackets, boat landing structures, pile pipes, SPM buoys, and PLEMs**.• Supervise inspection and maintenance of pipe spools, structural coating, and corrosion protection systems.• Prepare and review QA/QC documentation, including Quality Management Plans (QMPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, checklists, and daily inspection reports.• Ensure all activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.• Coordinate with other engineering teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution and inspection of maintenance works.• Support third-party inspections, audits, and client walkthroughs.Qualifications & Certifications:• Bachelor’s Degree (BE or BTech) in Mechanical Engineering.• Additional Certifications (one or more preferred):o CSWIP or AWS (Welding Inspector)o ASNT NDT Level 2o BGAS / NACE Level 2 (Coating Inspector)o Certified Piping/Vessel/Structural InspectorExperience Required:• Minimum 8 to 15 years in the oil & gas sector (offshore/onshore) with emphasis on maintenance inspection and QA/QC.• Strong hands-on experience in mechanical, piping, structural, and coating inspection within operational and maintenance environments.
