Job Title: Finance Manager
Ø Position Overview
The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall financial management, control, reporting, and compliance of the company, ensuring alignment with UAE regulations, IFRS standards, and company governance policies, the role supports strategic decision-making, cost control, and financial sustainability across all operations (construction, transport, PMV, leasing, and projects).

Ø Key Roles & Responsibilities:-
A. Financial Management & Control
Lead and manage all financial operations of the company and group entities
Develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives
Ensure proper internal controls and financial governance
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
B. Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
Monitor budget vs actual and report variances
Control project costs (materials, manpower, equipment, subcontractors)
Support cost-saving initiatives and financial efficiency
C. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations
Present financial performance reports to management
Maintain accuracy of GL, ledgers, and financial records
D. Project Finance & Construction Support
Monitor project financial performance (cost vs revenue)
Coordinate with QS, Planning, and Projects Team on cost tracking
Review BOQs, project budgets, and variations
Support claims, variation orders, and commercial evaluations
E. Accounts & Treasury Management
Oversee Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, and Treasury
Manage bank relationships, facilities, and financing
Monitor collections and credit control
Approve payments as per DOA
F. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with:
UAE VAT regulations
Corporate Tax requirements
UAE Labour Law (financial aspects)
Coordinate internal and external audits
Maintain audit-ready financial documentation
G. Risk Management
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
Monitor contractual and operational risks
Ensure proper insurance coverage and financial safeguards
H. Leadership & Team Management
Lead Finance & Accounts team
Develop team performance, KPIs, and training
Ensure segregation of duties within finance function
Ø Key Tasks (Operational)
Review daily cash position and approve payments
Approve supplier invoices and subcontractor payments
Monitor project-wise cost reports
Review payroll and WPS compliance
Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
Prepare VAT filings and tax submissions
Review LPOs, contracts, and financial commitments
Track fixed assets and depreciation
Follow up on receivables and collections

Ø Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting (Master’s preferred)
Professional Certification (ACCA / CPA / CMA preferred)
10–15+ years experience (UAE construction/contracting mandatory)
Strong knowledge of:
IFRS
UAE VAT & Corporate Tax
Construction costing & project finance
ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
