Group Finance Director
(Holding Group)
Position Summary
The Group Finance Director is responsible for leading and managing the overall financial strategy, governance, reporting, and performance of the holding group and its subsidiaries. The role ensures strong financial control, regulatory compliance, effective treasury management, and strategic support to the Board and senior management for sustainable growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and implement the Group’s financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Advise the Board of Directors and Group CEO on financial planning, investments, risks, and growth opportunities.
Support mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and expansion initiatives.
Drive long-term value creation across all business units.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
Monitor financial performance of subsidiaries and business divisions.
Analyze trends, profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators.
Recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and returns.
Group Reporting & Consolidation
Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all entities.
Maintain compliance with IFRS / applicable accounting standards.
Present financial reports to the Board and shareholders.
Treasury & Cash Management
Manage Group treasury operations, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
Optimize cash flow, funding structures, and working capital.
Negotiate financing arrangements, loans, and credit facilities.
Monitor foreign exchange and financial market risks.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Establish robust internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
Oversee internal and external audits across the Group.
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Subsidiary Oversight
Supervise finance heads of subsidiary companies.
Standardize financial systems, reporting frameworks, and controls.
Review business performance and support management decision-making.
Ensure alignment with Group policies and objectives.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop Group finance teams.
Build a high-performance finance culture across the organization.
Drive continuous improvement, digitization, and automation of finance processes.
