Job Summary:

The Mold Section Head is responsible for managing all mold-related activities to ensure high mold availability, quality output, and optimal performance of injection molding operations. The role leads mold maintenance, repair, modification, and improvement to support continuous production with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mold maintenance, repair, and preventive programs for injection molding tools.
• Ensure maximum mold availability, reliability, and quality performance.
• Diagnose mold-related defects and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage mold workshop activities, spare parts, and tooling inventory.
• Supervise and develop mold technicians and toolmakers.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering to meet production targets.
• Support new mold trials, approvals, modifications, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
• Track KPIs related to mold downtime, defects, and maintenance efficiency.
