- Work closely with the sales team to balance growth with prudent credit management.
- Prepare reports and analyses for management, including periodic review of the credit portfolio.
- Participate in negotiations with customers and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Assess and evaluate new and existing customer creditworthiness.
- Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments, outstanding balances, and credit limits.
- Negotiate payment terms and agreements with customers.
- Coordinate with the sales and finance teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, overdue accounts, and collection activities.
- Initiate legal or collection actions when necessary to recover outstanding debts.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers while ensuring timely collections.
- Handle disputes and resolve queries regarding invoices and payments.
