Job Title: Workshop Manager (Site-Based)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Workshop Manager to oversee all workshop operations at site, ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment fleet. The role is critical in supporting ongoing infrastructure and transportation projects by minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full workshop operations at project site

• Supervise maintenance and repair of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, graders, trucks, etc.)

• Implement preventive maintenance programs for fleet and machinery

• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and ensure timely resolution

• Lead and supervise mechanics, technicians, and workshop staff

• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables

• Coordinate with procurement for parts and external services

• Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards

• Monitor equipment downtime and improve utilization efficiency

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation

• Coordinate with project/site teams to support operational requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in heavy equipment workshop management

• Strong experience in construction, infrastructure, or transport companies in UAE

• In-depth knowledge of earthmoving equipment and fleet operations

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• Ability to work under pressure in site-based environments

• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
