We are hiring a Business Development Executive / Manager to lead our growth strategy across the Indian Subcontinent and GCC, including Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. The candidate will identify, develop, and manage commercial opportunities in the marine coatings and services sector, supporting both new client acquisition, assist with developing new marine business lines and existing client account expansion.Key Responsibilities Include:Drive business growth across assigned territories by identifying shipyards, dry docks, ship repair firms, offshore companies, ship chandlers and supply companies and marine service providers as key clients.Promote International (AkzoNobel), Jotun, and Hempel coating systems and solutions to clients and consultants across the region.Develop new marine products business and capture new business from existing clients and new clients Lead client engagement from initial contact through to deal closure, supported by the technical and commercial teams.Respond to RFQs and prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and product recommendations aligned with project needs.Build strategic relationships with stakeholders including shipowners, procurement managers, consultants, and specifiers.Monitor market intelligence across the Indian Subcontinent and GCC to identify project opportunities, new entrants, and competitor movements.Collaborate closely with the internal team for pricing strategies, lead follow-up, and aftersales support.Represent Abyss Trading at relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry forums across the region.Maintain a robust CRM database and provide regular reporting on pipeline development, regional activity, and KPIs.
