Job Summary:Prime Link is a leading transport and logistics provider in the UAE, committed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QHSE Supervisor to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing, implementing, and overseeing all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies and procedures across our transport operations. This role is critical in ensuring the well-being of our employees, the safety of our fleet and cargo, and our compliance with all relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:QHSE Management System: Improve, implement, and maintain a robust QHSE management system in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. Prime Link also has an SQAS programme, though no prior experience is necessary.Compliance and Regulation: Ensure all transport operations comply with local and federal UAE laws, including regulations related to the transport of dangerous goods. Stay abreast of all new and revised legislation and industry best practices.Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all transport-related activities, including journey management, vehicle operations, and cargo handling. Develop and implement effective control measures to mitigate identified risks.Driver Safety and Training: Enhance and manage a comprehensive driver safety program, including defensive driving, fatigue management, and emergency response training. Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings.Vehicle and Equipment Safety: Implement and monitor a stringent vehicle maintenance and inspection program to ensure the roadworthiness of our fleet. Ensure all equipment operators are adequately trained and certified.Journey Management: Oversee the planning and execution of all journeys, ensuring that routes are optimized for safety and efficiency. Implement and manage a journey management system that includes pre-trip inspections, route hazard analysis, and driver monitoring.Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into all accidents, incidents, and near misses. Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain detailed records and report findings to management.Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular QHSE audits and inspections of all work sites, vehicles, and operational procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key QHSE performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare and present regular reports to management on QHSE performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.Culture and Engagement: Champion a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the organization. Promote QHSE awareness and encourage employee participation in all safety initiatives.
